Nice painterly look, Brendan. I like the lines as well as sun's glow. I am not entire sure about the single stem on the left. Let's see what others say. Nicely processed
Hi Brendan, I really like this kind of landscape and this one is very nice. What lens did you use, somewhere around 135mm or so? I actually like the plant on the left, as I think it adds a sense of depth to the image. What I would probably evict is the ranch house down below. Are there two of them?
Thanks for the comments & suggestions, Indranil & Kerry.
I was debating regarding including the plant, but decided it added interest and some balance to the comp. Also forgot to mention I combined two exposures to get a bit more detail in FG and the bottom part of plant.
Kerry, I didn't even see the other house earlier, here's the repost with both removed.
Lens: EF-S18-55mm f/3.5-5.6
Brendan, I imagine you would get a wide range of opinions on the branch, but I'm with Kerry, I like it!
The lanscape is beautiful. The height of the branch allows you to include more of that beautiful sky. Like the placement of the sun.
Well done.
Thanks Jay!
