Sitting here in the airport in Winnipeg, its raining (what else is new). Image is colorful and certainly OOTB, I wonder what it would look like if you masked some of the birds details back in...just a thought.

The bubbly is cool effect, Dan. I like the overall compostion, very OOTB! Think Paul makes a good suggestion.

Here's a version with the bird and some of the bg reveled. I think it is an improvement but maybe this is too ootb? The tech may come in handy in the bag-o-tricks sometime though!

Agree; the repost is a huge improvement. I especially like that you left more of the effect on the rear of the bird than on the head....
I also prefer the second post as the eye in the OP was so vacant that I couldn't connect with the bird. In the second I can really make that connection.
Dan, sweet capture to start with and I appreciate what you were doing with the original post. Very different and creative, but I have to say I like the repost better. For me it is all about the eye.
