This is a fun technique, but I'd hate to admit to the number of hours I've spent playing around with it

Hopefully not on the company computer!!! :e3
Nice image and application, Maureen.
I might consider a minor crop on the bottom to bring the "floor lines" into the corners of the image. But that is just a minor comment. It is a nice image as is.
I love it! I may just have to do some 'playing around' too
Wonderful concept, when I first looked at it I thought it was one image flipped, now i see it is two individual pictures good work. The texture and lighting on the ceiling really adds to the composition.
I much prefer the position of the left-hand bird in the frame to that of the right hand bird....
Thanks for the comments :S3:
Artie, I'm not particularly thrilled with the position of bird on the right either. IF I ever redid this, I would choose a more dynamic image.
It's a fun technique and the link Christopher provided is a great photoshop tutorial.
Very nice composition, Maureen. I like the concept and I think you did excellent processing. TFS.
Maureen, this is a really interesting comp. It does look like the images are hanging in a gallery!
Maureen, Great OOTB thinking for this one. The drop shadows are a nice touch. The final result was worth the effort!:S3:
Really nice, this has given me some ideas. if I ever find the time. Love the colors and composition. Well done
Thanks for commenting, everyone. I see a lot of really interesting possibilities for this technique and have some ideas of things I'd like to try one of these days :S3:
Very creative Maureen! It looks like these two were tired of hanging on the wall in the gallery and decided to make a break for it. :c3: I have only tried this technique once and wasn't too happy with what I got, but this inspires me to revisit the concept. Very nice!
Maureen, the is so creative! I think you did a great job and I can only imagine the time it takes to do one.:S3:
Thanks Kerry and Cheryl :S3:
Your hard work really paid off! It's very creative and one of the best OOB images I've seen!
Thanks, Judy!
Excellent application of the OOB technique, Maureen! I love the gallery presentation. :S3: Nice work!
Creative and humorous! Congratulations.
