Zinnia~ To create the image above I started by applying a free texture from Shadowhouse Creations. I then added multiple layers and lowered the opacity of each layer, using the transform tool I rotated the layers slightly to create a soft blur. Then I duplicated my image and changed the top layer to a soft sepia mono-toned image, blended the two together by lowering the opacity of the sepia layer. I did this to soften the overall look and tone of the image. Next I added one of my own Fractalius presets to add a crackled look. Here is the link for the settings I used to create the preset. The soft light blend mode was used at a lowered opacity for the finishing touch.

Alot of work put into this one , and it pays off big time. Very creative and conveys a wonderful feel. Would make a great front for a greeting card???

Beautiful soft dreamy image, Denise. I think I'd like to see the LLC lightened just a bit.

Hi Denise,
Beautiful pastel colors. This soft blur and feeling of movement of the flower are very nice. I also like the antiqued background. Agree with lightening the LLC. Lots of thought went into the processing and result shows it.

I like the way you layered it and the fract work looks great. I like the soft colors and the dark corner of the texture. I think textures should be uneven and a bit grungy!

I like the colors and texture, but am not wild about the blur effect.
