I thought it was time to try few pb composition... used a mockingbird image I took last week and applied pb/oil painting selectively on the perch and the bird. Then applied Topaz simplify and one more round of pb to get the final effect. Hope you like it...

Indranil, I really like your effect, especially on the feathers and leaves. I think I might lessen a bit, some of the effect on the feet. very nice.

Hi Indranil, Agree with Cheryl on the feet and I might take out the partial flower on the lower left along with the cut sticker on the upper rt. Pleasing image with a nice backround...

Indranil, the feet still look "furry" to me. I don't mind the flower in the lower left, but would remove those thorns there. Those look painful if the birds would back up. :S3:

Dave, Cheryl, thanks. The birds had a nest within this thorny bush and both parents were flying in and out frequently with worms. I noticed they perched here every time before flying off. I positioned myself accordingly and finally got this image. Here is another repost...

I like your 2nd repost of the mockingbird! The PB filtering works well on the bird and foliage.
