The parent brought in a lizard for the this juvenile. I wish it took it to a cleaner spot, but heck, I am not complaining.

What a great action shot! The lizards' open mouth is kind of gruesome-looks like he is screaming in pain. I would take a bit off the left. The eye is drawn in to the action so no need for all that space.
I would love to have this type of shot in my portfolio.

Well captured with excellent timing, claw position and prey very strong elements.
Gail has a valid point about the framing, but the wild flowers add enough secondary interest that I am fine with it as framed.
I might consider toning down the two white flowers at the very bottom of the frame, or consider a subtle vignette along the entire bottom edge to downplay that area.
