Please give me some feedback on this piece! I like it but then again, I don't? What do you all think? Trash or treasure or so, so?
I used fractialus in Yin/Yang layers, one black lines and the other glow50 with a few tweaks, then adjusted opacity, erased selectively from both layers down to the original BG layer.

Hmmmm. The bright red leaves coming in from ULC don't seem to fit with the rest of the image. I like the red, black and white. I haven't used fractilus, so have no suggestions to make.
Dan, I like it but with a hefty crop from the top. Let me know your thoughts.:S3:
Dan, I like it, but prefer Denise's crop. I think I would prefer the whites a little less white. I haven't tried multiple fracts on images yet....now I'll have to try it out too! :S3:
I think you have some very cool patterns & colors going on here, Dan. May just need to be simplified some more, as it is a little busy. Denise's crop is a good start, but I agree with Anita, that the bright red leafs seem a bit out of place. I think you are on to something with the combination of processing you used on this.

So here's a redo. I cropped using an 8X10 ratio (for possible printing), about 30% down from the original post, which was full frame and toned down the whites. This is a "busy" image, so not much can be done about that. What do you think?
Dan: Can you put some of the black borders around the very bright red leaves coming in diagonally? Or something that helps define them more?
Hi Dan, I'm on the fence about this one... I like the colors and textures, but I feel that the image doesn't quite know what it wants to be - bright and cheerful, or dark and foreboding. I guess that's part of the yin and yang thing. :c3: There are a lot of cropping possibilities, and I might take your last post and crop it from the bottom into a pano. Interesting idea!
