Koko is my current dog. She is almost 5 years old. A black lab mix. Way too rambunctious to accompany me in the field on photo shoots, but she loves everybody and is very good with my 3 1/2 year old daughter. She has an hereditary eye disease called "pannus" and requires crotisone drops in her eyes every day to prevent her from going blind. Pannus causes blood vessels and tissue to form at the outer corner of the eye which eventually covers the eye causing blindness, unless they receive the cortisone drops. You can see from the image that her eyes still look good.
Photo is from last fall and the background is out of focus white pine needles on grass. A light use of Fractalius was applied.
The joy in her eye really lights up the image. She's beautiful and the Fract treatment is perfect. Very nice BG color. You revealed the perfect amount of details.:S3:

Koko looks great, Andrew. I love labs. You did an excellent job of handling the black coat on a sunny day. Those eyes are very playful. :S3:

Great looking lab, Andrew, and wonderful expression you captured. Fur has a nice silky texture, and nice warm colored BG.

What a beautiful companion! I love the soft almost orton-like treatment you gave her. She's a doll!
