This image of a male Peacock was taken at Weeki WatcheeSprings, near here. He was putting on a show for the Peahen who was walking by. The BG green bush camouflaged the bird, but the effect further added to the mystery of the shot.
Modifications in CS4 and Topaz included; Selective Color,Vibrance & Saturation, Extrude, InFocus. Unfortunately I had to adjust the quality setting to 21 to post this. :e3
Enjoy!

Here is the original of the image, with minimal adjustment of contrast and brightness. FYI.

Mark - That's a really cool, I like it a lot!! I wonder if you're able to paint some of the bird's blue chest back in, just curious if that enhances a great effect even more. That the bird was surrounded by green make this even more stunning.

Cool starburst of effect, Mark. Intense color, and creative transformation processing.

Mark, Very OOTB for sure. I agree w/ Scott's suggestion regarding the blue of the bird.I might take a slice off the top to get rid of the white at the edge. Once again Mark you have created something unique!!:S3:

Gosh Mark, what a great use of the extrude filter! Now I want to have a peacock theme. :bg3: I agree with Denise about cropping the white bits from the top - I think you have plenty of room up there. Very cool! :c3::c3:

I have never tried the extrude filter. Your results are amazing. The colors, patterns and shapes are very pleasing to look at. I'd call that a wall hanger!

One of my favorites of yours. Really good job at creating a new image. Love the vibrant greens with bits of red against the black. I like how the frame is filled with the peacock feathers. Well done.

I think the repost is an improvement, not that I thought an improvement was possible. :w3
