I came up with this image while photographing an asiatic lily that I purchased over the weekend from Lowe's. I liked the way the two leaves were reaching out to touch each other and did a slight overexposure in camera and added more along with a blur vignette in pp.

Jules, I love this one. It totally looks like they are being intimate. I might tone down the one whiter spot on the left. It's not bright but does pull the eye just a bit. Very, very creative and well seen as usual. See this is what I mean when I told you a long time ago that you can look at something and see what no-one else can, magical!:S3:

Thank you, Denise...I think you do a pretty darn good job of pulling out the unusual as well! I went back and forth on how bright to make the whites but I'll take another look at them again. I see the spot you're talking about...probably just needs a quick swish of very pale green on part of it to pull it down a bit.

Nicely seen, Jules. I wonder if this is what Stevie Wonder was singing about in "The Secret Life of Plants"? :S3:

This image was a wonderful surprise--I couldn't see the details in the thumbnail, but the larger size showed me the secret--touching leaves. Nicely seen and captured. I like the soft colors and composition. I agree with you that a bit of green on that light spot would probably do the trick.

Brendan, I often wonder the same thing. :w3
Anita, glad you liked it! I'll rework the image and add that touch of green.

Hi Julie - A very provocative image in that it invites the viewer to figure out what this is, with just enough in focus to give a hint. Agree with the hot spot on the left - would be good to tone down or cover up. Well seen and well executed!!

Jules, they are totally holding hands, as my daughter would say... :c3: I love this - color, softness, emotional appeal. Very nice.
