I'm coining a new word - "Self Paintrait". In this image I used the city's lights to paint itself while moving the camera in deliberate directions, in this case in the shape of a rectangle during the long exposure. That's the moon rising above Manhattan.
In camera blur, curves, saturation, crop. Nikon D300, 35-70 at f5, 6 sec.

That is very cool and creative, Scott! Nicely balanced composition, and like how you used the city lights to paint it. The rectangle moon is a nice touch, and the clouds and water reflection add to whole feel. Very nicely done!
Scott, this is awesome creative work! Love the frames and how it is repeated. Enough ambient light and the moonshine is very impressive. Outstanding technique!
