The magic light of sunset was perfect for this duck, which is seldom seen here. I read that they are often found in flocks of American wigeons and that is where I found this one. He was the only one I found, and possibly came all the way from Siberia!
Yet another Topaz workflow... Detail and Clean. Other tweaks in PS.

This is beautiful, Kerry. Love the low angle and the pose. Beautiful light and it has come out very nice with the filters. I have not come across Eurasian here in the Bay Area. Thanks for the tip; I will look out for those next year.

Wonderful light and composition, Kerry! Once again, just the right amount of Topaz processing on this. The wigeon contrast nicely with the dark olive green BG, and I like the reflection with just a hint of water ripples.

Kerry this is a beauty, getting this close to a Eurasian Wigeon is tough. Love the effect, the color, the composition...only thing I'd wish for is a little more room on the right, just a little though.
