For this one I used fractalius only (as opposed to the last two posts). It shows my usual use of fractalius to create very thin black lines from edges. Comments and critique welcomed. regards~Bill

Bill, I like the composition and the action you captured. This guys colors seem a tiny bit flat, I might lighten the face and eye just a little if it were mine. Very nice use of the filter with a subtle effect. You gotta love that foot!:S3:

I like the subtleness of the filter used on this. Would agree on the face lightening. Very interesting bird and I think the composition and quality of this is first class.
