Usually I reduce the opacity of the fractalius layer and increase the saturation of the base layer. Here I used a linear burn blend mode instead. Comments and critique welcomed. regards~Bill
Nice pose, processing and comp. I'm not sure the OOF rock on the right adds to the image but it doesn't detract either. I do see some grain at the bottom that I may not have noticed w/o the rock. I like the colors a lot. Nice work Bill as usual.:S3:

Ditto..as usual job well done, if it were mine I'd lose the OOF rock on the right. Nice composition and colors.

Bill, I love the detail and colors. I'm conflicted about the OOF rock:S3:

Excellent work as usual, Bill. Very nice pose, details, and colors. I agree with Paul on removing the OOF rock. Well done!

Thanks Denise, Paul, Cheryl, Christopher. Although I kept the right hand rock because it seemed to add depth, I now see that it has become a distraction, especially with how frac alterred it. So I'm for its eviction. Appeciate the input! regards~Bill

What rocks my boat on this one is the green/orange color theme you have going. The orange of the lichens echoed in the coverts and bill of the bird and the green of the water in the eye. That is very cool. :c3::c3: I would love to see a re-post without the you-know-what. :w3
