Perfect timing and I love the pose. The filtering is great but those water drops are to die for!!:S3:
Good work on a fine capture, Kerry! He looks like a wood carving! The water drops are very nice! I think an improvement would be a more life like eye but very nice as is!
Excellent composition and effect, Kerry. I love the pose and the warm light here. The water drop and the concentric circles are fantastic.
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. Love everything about it. The wonderful detail on the duck, the lovely light on the duck's head and breast, the reflections, the colors and tones. Wonderful work.
Kerry,
Beautifully done. I agree with Dan... it looks like a wood carving. If it were mine, I might experiment with keeping the eye as it appeared in the original.
Richard
Thanks everyone for your nice comments, I appreciate them!
When I saw what the processing had done to the eye, my first thought was to mask in the original eye. I then had the thought that the filtered eye reinforced the idea of a wood carving. I do, however, like the real eye version too and think it gives a different feel. Thanks!
Great redo, Kerry! It has carved life!
I know you said you might not have room in your house for a "drop" set up, but this is definitely a great work-around. :S3:
Super images, Kerry.
Kerry, the repost is absolutely amazing! :5
