Wonderful, Steve. Love the dot you put on the i :S3:
Oh my gosh Steve, nicely dotted! How long did it take you to set this up? Really cool drop shot! Did you use a green gel on one or more of your strobes? When I first saw the thumbnail I thought it was going to be the Golden Gate Bridge in a jar. :bg3:
Wow, I like the GGB idea! Let's see... maybe a flip or two... now you've got me thinking.:bg3:
Blue drop into green water in jar. Have added small amount of glycerin and very tiny amount of rinse aid to water. Seems to help elasticity. Used one strobe underneath the jar firing straight up. 2nd strobe with blue gel firing straight back at camera through frosted plastic diffuser. Tried a variety of water colors/ levels/ gels//strobe placement - trying to define jar text and of course get a good drop. :S3: Overall, about 4 hrs.
Sweet! :5
Fantastic!! I really like your OOTB thinking on this one. Great looking drop but it is the jar that really makes this special. Love it! I might clean up the dust spots in the BG but the reflected water lines at the base are great!
Oops, I think I need a little CCW rotation, also. :e3
Thanks for the good catch on the spots, denise. :S3:
Beautiful Steve. Love the colors, the jar and the dotted "i" ! :5
Neat effect, Steve
Reminds me of an accent umbrella on the edge of a Mai Tai and sitting on a beach in Hawaii! :c3:
I know... Dream on!!! :bg3:
Just stopped in. Getting ready for the move. Will be back from our new location, next month.
Thanks, Mark. Good to hear from you. Very nice dream!:t3 Hope the move goes as expected. :S3:
Outstanding, from the beginning through every step. Great craftmanship and patience. An admirable presentation Exceptionaly well done.

Nice job Steve!
This one is spectacular! Love everything about it... thanks for the steps.
Thanks Gus, Nick and Indranil! Appreciate your comments. :S3:
