Every year the last competition at my Camera Club is a theme competiton. This years theme is "Water in Any Form". I shot this today and am thinking of using it as one of my digital submissions. I would be interested in any and all thoughts and comments.

Joe, this is beautiful. There are lots of nice element in this image. I like the smooth flow as the waves break on the rock and the repeating features. B&w treatment is nice too.. I might reduce the vignette on the right just a bit, if it were mine. I also think this could have been a pano crop with bit more of the water on the left.

Really cool water breaks over the rocks, Joe. Agree it would be worth exploring a pano and a bit lighter on the URC. :S3:

Joe, Good suggestions already given. I like the B&W conversion and the water looks nice. I think the pano crop would be nice too.:S3:

Joe, I think you should definitely submit this one and it should do well. I do agree with Indranil in that the first thing I noticed was how dark the upper right area is. I think backing off of the vignette a tad will make this nice image even nicer. Good luck! :c3:

Hi Joe, love the B&W conversion. I think it adds to the feel of the crashing waves. I might open up the darkest shadowed areas a touch. One small dust bunny in the lower left corner. Best of luck in the contest.

Hi Joe;
Love everything about your presentation, reminds me of Volocano Park on the Big Island of Hawaii.
I have no suggestions, however, for a looksee along the ideas of the others I did a quick redo just for maybe an idea of options you may think of..
