You made a bunch of leaves look beautiful. Even though you discribed you processing , I'm not sure just what you did , but it sure did work well. i think the Black BG adds some drama and the diagonal composition makes it a dynamic as opposed to a static image.
Very nice composition, Maureen. Love the diagonal composition and the pb effect on the leaves. The colors are beautiful and works very will with the dark bg. Nicely processed
Maureen, Agree with Indranil and Joe... a beautiful treatment of this oak leaf image. :S3:
Maureen, Very creative and good eye for this one! Love the black BG as Joe points out, I might take a sliver off the top if it were mine. Nicely done.:S3:
Hi Maureen, you made a nice chiaroscuro image! Great colors and I always like a tasteful PB oil treatment. Not as a suggestion for improvement but just as a thought, I would love to see this rotated 90% CCW as a vertical. :c3:
90 degree CCW for Kerry :S3:
Thanks Maureen! I think it works well both ways and you got yourself a "twofer". :c3:
Maureen, I love the filtering on these oak leaves. Very nice work!
Thank you for the comments. :S3:
Hi Maureen; I think you have a beautiful fourfor as it is absoluterly stunning no matter what way you place it. We too have all our trees budding, and some like the Mountain Laraul have beautiful blossoms emerging. lovely purple in its case. Also the cacti are sprouting blossoms. Only drawback with the tree is that the birds will be hidden. However, it will be welcome shade for them
You made an exciting presentation. Looking forward to more.
Best regards
Gus
