This is partly a happy accident. I was resizing the image and didn't notice the proportion box wasn't checked and liked the result, pretty OOTB. I used Pixel Bender and Topaz Adjust on the butterfly and modified a background texture with Topaz Clean and Pixel Bender Twirl and a hue/sat colorize layer and added a red outer glow.

A beautiful specimen , although it seems a touch soft. perhaps due to the processing. Love the composition and color captured. I feel the border is a bit strong , and takes away from this fine image.

Beautiful composition, Judy. I love the color and the effect. I think your use of unconventional border with zebra pattern actually works! For me it balances the pattern on the butterfly nicely.

Very interesting image/graphic on this one, Judy. Love the contrasting red/blue/black/white. Very neat accident. :S3:
I might want to darken the bottom left stick and maybe a little darker top sticks as they both draw my eye out of the image. The frame might work better then, also. :S3:

Judy, Very nice accident and definitely OOTB! I can see both views points on the frame. I think Steve makes a good suggestion. After back and forth with the frame-I like it!:S3:

Hi Judy, sometimes the accidents lead to some of our best stuff! I like the stretched perspective and simple color set on the bf. I agree with Steve and Joe on the amount of details in the image, I think the stripes on the frame and the sticks add extra busy-ness. I think a solid or fine-textured frame would work better and keep the eye on the prize.

Thanks everyone! I actually did darken the bottom stick with one swipe of the paintbrush but I can darken them more as it would look better. I like the frame. It was originally a texture photo of a piece of rusted corrugated tin!

Judy, you gotta love those happy accidents. Beautiful butterfly, love the filtering on the butterfly. The framing adds nicely to the butterfly. Cool accident!
