I used Snap Art Impasto to create the painted look. I also inverted the original image and used selective colors to change the colors. I added a snow action that I believe is already listed in the work flow sticky at the top of the page.

Denise, I love the filters you used and the colors as well as the snow action. I find the largest clump of grasses at the bottom left to be a little distracting, maybe because they're a little darker than the clumps on the right (which I like because of the subtle colors).
Denise, I love the colors and the snow action effect. Quite lovely! Cheryl makes a good point about the large darker clump of grasses at the bottom. Beautiful creation! :S3:
This is a very lovely blur, Denise! The tree colors and falling snow give a wonderful feel to the scene. Good suggestion by Cheryl. Well done! :S3:
Really pretty Denise. This would make a very nice print. Love the textures and colors. Would make a really nice holiday card too!
Lovely and unique, denise! When I saw the thumbnail I thought it was a blur, but now I'm not sure. Just curious if the Impasto gave me that impression. In any case, wonderful scene/pano with the combination of color AND snow. Great print for hanging. :S3:
Thanks folks, I should have said that it was an in-camera blur to start with, sorry.:S3:
This is beautiful, Denise.
Denise, while I do like it very much, when you first look at it your eye starts at the center and then moves outward.
You're the expert; however, what do you think about a teeny tiny amount of CCW to straighten those central trunks?
Denise,
Love the in-camera blur effect on the autumn trees. The painted look and snow effect adds more interest though I agree about possibly lightening the darker areas near the bottom left or possibly cropping a bit upwards from the bottom for less ground snow. Beautifully done.

Thanks all, I appreciate the comments.
Jay, I was on a tripod using a level so I'm certain it's level even though it may not look it. Thanks so much for dropping in.:S3:
Hi Denise, this is a beautiful in-camera blur. Love the colors and the snow effect. Nicely processed.
This is at the top of my list of your blurs! I love the painterly look, the colors and the snow. It would make a lovely print.
A very appealing image, Denise! Blurred blocks of muted colors, snow, and those trunks make this so pleasing to look at.
Indranil, Judy and John, Thank you all for the kind comments. They are much appreciated.
John, Nice to see you on the site.:S3:
