I thought of water. :w3 And some fun with drops.
Combined a smoke and water drop image.
Applied Liquify (of course) and some Puppet Warp to the smoke to make a slide with ladder. Used Topaz Simplify - Cartoon, Lens flare, negative Clarity in LR and a gradient.
If this is not over the edge, it's pretty close. :S3:

Very creative! I always wondered what all those RGB values inside my camera processor did for fun.:S3:
As usual with you, it's "out there" and well done.
Something very minor... if it were mine I might try and blend that small area under the middle of the slide that has a slight bluish tint with the rest of the background.
