A cloudless sunrise in Cuba, with no foreground subjects for interest, found me playing around with my 80-400mm lens to isolate some rippled water blurs in the mangrove area that I was at on this particular morning. I cropped it to a pano to eliminate a complicated patch of specular highlights from the sun's reflection. I have others where I eliminated the specular highlights when I composed them, but kinda liked the blur to this one and later liked the pano crop too.
Andrew, the color, pattern, and comp are just amazing! The rich golden-orange reflections combined with the blur effect almost look like fire! They just keep getting better and better, excellent job! :5

Hi Andrew, Beautiful presentation. I usually like a center of interest but in this case the color, texture and subtle horizontal layers really grab my attention and keep me in the image. The blur is most effective giving an overall softness to the water which is a major element.. Good crop and eye...

Andrew, love the gorgeous colors and flow that leads the eye around the image. I can almost see the water moving... Definitely a perfect crop for this scene. Good show.
