New Rookery Blog for the St. Augustine Alligator Farm Zoological Park
Hello everyone!
To aid in the broadcasting of information regarding the natural history and status updates of the zoo's dynamic wild rookery, I have begun a new blog on our website. Check it out at:
http://rookery.alligatorfarm.us/
It's a work in progress, but getting better every day! Currently the rookery contains a few displaying and nesting Great egrets and a couple dozen Roseate spoonbills (which have begun nesting much earlier than last year). Black and Yellow-crowned night herons are still roosting in abundance.
Hope to see all of you soon!
