Tried to find an image that would work full frame. Thought this might dull the scratcher a bit. :w3
This is a small slew on the road home.
Taken late in the year as the tall grasses began to lie down for Winter.
In CS5 used Pixel Bender -Oil, Topaz Simplify - Wood Carving (sliders modified), Topaz Clean - Cartooned, slight crop, levels.
It required a downsizing to 19% quality.
All C&C welcome. :S3:

Steve, this is a lot of scratching! So much detail we can't see when converted for web... Good image for the style and your processing worked great. I like the composition a lot! :c3:

Thanks denise and Kerry! Yes, the detail in the grass is what attracted me to this scene. Hard to show but that's life. ... :S3:

Just for fun... This is a very small crop (1/20) of the grass detail LLC... @ 75% quality, 193 kb.

This was a good choice of images for the scratch, Steve. I think the modified Wood Carving setting from Topaz Simplify works well to create the scratch art effect. Repost works well too. Nice job!

Great choice of image, Steve! The level of detail is amazing. It also reminds me a bit of a woodcut. Well done! :S3:
