One of the small fry to be found around the Giants Castle hide whilst waiting for Vultures. Would have liked a little more head turn.

C&C most welcome.

Pieter, I find the dark and lighter spots in the BKG a little distracting. If you would have moved a little to the left it looks like the BKG would be more monotone green. EXP on the bird looks okay, but the light seems very harsh

Hi Pieter,
Very good sharpness and exposure. I think the head angle is good but the background is a bit troubling. As Clemens said going to the left but also lower might have alleviated that problem. But I suspect you may have been in a hide with little room to move...

Nice pose, exposure and sharpness. Bg does not really bother me, guess I'm just used to busy bg up here in WA :bg3:. Brighter bits of grass could be toned down a bit to help even out the bg if you had a mind to. well done.

Hi Pieter, I quite like this pose, with good feather detail shown. The BG doesnt bother me either, but never having been to this hide, Im not sure if moving to your left would have helped - apart from losing the pose and HA.

Thanks for looking and commenting, appreciate the feedback and the different points of view, certainly helps with the learning process.:S3:
Moving unfortunately not an option in the hide but point noted, I also appreciate Stuarts point of losing the pose.
