Virtually everything looks right on the money-exposure, details in blacks and whites, BG, HA, pose and comp, perch. It looks like there are two catchlights, though I may be mistaken. Outstanding image in any case. Can't wait to see one of these in action, as you noted. Cheers.

The image gives the impression that the bird is looking away slightly. A HA with a couple of degrees towards you might have made this otherwise great image perfect. You could have moved to the right a little to get the same result.
