I've been so fascinated with Christopher's 'old' textures that I thought it would be interesting to try to create an old postcard. The original was taken while I was visiting Cedar Key on Friday. I converted it to black & white, applied two different textures and blurred it just a bit.
It wasn't until after I finished this that it occurred to me that it isn't cropped properly for a postcard (the vintage postcards I have measure about 5.5 x 3.5 - this is 5.5 x 3.35) :e3
Comments appreciated!

Maureen, I think you nailed the look. I like the text in the LLC and think it adds to the effect. The tears and low contrast seem great to me.:S3:

Excellent aging, Maureen! Looks exactly like a real old postcard. :S3: Glad I could inspire you.
Just out of curiosity, what textures did you use? I think I recognize one from Shadowhouse Creations in there.

Cheryl, I love Cedar Key too. Lots of scrub jays around there right now.
