Hey Dan, love the 'evasive' approaching posture, and always good to see the full wingspread with these landing shots. Sounds like you guys had fun there, and looking forward to more. :w3

Great capture Daniel - the look of the eyes suggests this bird was very inquisitive, or at least nosey as to what was happening. I love the sharpness and lighting conditions. Has this bird been in a fight do you think, with the damage to the front left wing edge, or are the feathers lifted by the airflow?

Daniel, I like the incoming pose and the tail looks awesome. We had a good time at Estero and it was great to meet you in person.:S3:

Thanks!
Richard, I believe the "damage" on the front of the wing is caused by air flow lifting the feathers as the next few frames of the series has this on both wings.
Denise, it was indeed great meeting you in person!!

Pretty impressive you manage to get a sharp BIF with the 100-400 and a 1.4 TC !
Not crazy about the position of the head and the shadow on the eye and neck but wing and leg position is nice.

Daniel:
I like the angled landing pose, rippled water, head on view.
Could perhaps go a bit brighter based on what I am seeing on my monitor.
