Way to stop down! The whole bird's sharp even though not in profile. You had plenty of light to work with.
While I can't comment on the accuracy of the red color (not having seen one in person), the detail and sharpness are very, very good--nice to be able to go to f/10 to get the whole bird in focus. Nice HA and composition. Some might quibble over the lower branch but it doesn't bother me. Very well done. Cheers.
Dumay,
Very nice exposure! I too have never seen one so can't comment on the reds. Nice composition, head angle and eye....

Agree Dumay, tough to get these right. Nice detail throughout with good head turn and eye contact.
Good move on the f/10 to get the DOF needed for over the shoulder look.
I would desaturate the reds as the detail is blocked up. Not as much a problem of exposure as it is saturation. Canon is very red sensitive so normally needs to be adjusted for subjects with brilliant reds.
Good look-back pose Dumay, and I feel you have got the exposure spot on here. Good open capture.
Thanks guys...Tough with these subjects
Exposure is nailed  Great IQ and the bg is to kill for. Super IMG !!!
