I really like the BG on this image. The bird blends a little into it, but I think in this case it is a good thing, b/c it demonstrates that the bird is well adapted to this environment. The BG also lends a certain painterly quality to the photo.

Agree, very cool BG and it shows why these guys are so hard to find. Preferred would have been the head and neck angled towards you. Looks like he is getting ready to bank away for you.

Nice background and good detail in the wings. As Robert pointed out, the head angle could be better.

Lucky you William. Not an easy bird to catch in flight. I agree with the above comments. And I'd consider a slight contrast boost.
