Wow! I never saw so many crows in one area and to see them on the water like this w/ beautiful light is awesome. It looks like you leveled this using the crow line. The back line looks like the horizon and I wonder if you leveled the image using the horizon if it would look better or worse. I might evict the white line on the right edge of the frame. The pano crop works perfectly here.:S3:
James, I love the layers of color and texture and the birds percolating up into the sky. The blur works nicely too. Sweet! Is that a breakwater there? It adds a nice compositional anchor. :c3:
Straightened the horizon and added some blur to the foreground water.
After .jpg compression I thought the foreground looked over sharpened.
Beautiful James!
Beautiful image, James. That's one big flock of crows! It reminds me of when I used to live to near a crow roost. I love the colors and feel.
Nice one James! Nice color, blur, and energy. Makes for a very cool looking graphic.
Excellent composition, James. Love the backdrop of the gradient sky. TFS.
Sweet as above. I am confused. The dark line is crows? Are they in the water? (You have inspired me to try some of those blur things :))
