I applied three of my textures to this cardinal photo after desaturating the image a little. I also applied a photo filter adjustment to add a little more warmth to the image and added a slight vignette. I wish there wasn't the branch in front of the tail, but I couldn't clone it out satisfactorily. Comments and suggestions most appreciated.

interesting. So much like you!!! I agree with the branch opinion. Also wish, though, that the crop wasn't so tight so that the whole tail is not there.

Christopher, I would try to evict the extra branch using Artie's "Divide and Conquer" technique before the textures are applied. If you have a tail from another image you could overlay it onto the existing tail. A hard one to do w/o a tail :S3:. I like the way you processed this and the overall look is lovely.

Thanks for the comments, Hazel and Denise. Much appreciated!
Denise, I tried using the tail from another image before but didn't like how it looked. Looking back again though, I found a photo that did work to replace the tail. Guess I just had to try a little harder! :S3: I also adjusted the crop slightly.

Great job Christopher, repost looks good. I really like the colors and textures. This is just personal tast, but I'm wanting to highlight the bird a bit more from the BG.
