I've had a hard time finding images that worked well with the theme. This was an image I did last year for Asian week. I squared it and rotated and did Polar Coordinates. I left the split in case they wanted to fly away:S3:
Thanks for looking. Comments and suggestions appreciated.

Oops, I forgot to remove my chop from the middle. This is the corrected version:S3:

NOW WE'RE TALK'IN CHERYL! Cool! This is similar to the painted Asian fans! A very popular format for Asian paintings! Works really well with our theme!

It does resemble a fan. Very cool OOTB thinking on this one Cheryl. I love the seam it looks like an exclamation point!!:S3:

A Japanese fan was the first thing that popped into my mind, too! When I saw the thumbnail, I wondered about leaving the seam but I'm glad you did! It looks great!

Cheryl,
Greetings. Very cool. I really like the look the Asian sense of balance. I kinda like the version with the chop in the middle... having both looks fine to me. Good show!
Cheers,

Excellent work Cheryl! This has a wonderful artistic feel and a super interpretation of the theme. Love the delicate patterns in the background and the simple color palette. Nice job!

Thanks everyone! I liked the way it came out and had been getting frustrated trying different images that didn't work out.:S3:
