Deforestation, Global Warming, Climate Change, Carbon Footprints, Foul Jetstream... hard to decide a title.
Started with a single inverted smoke image, flip, 6 layers w/even rotation for radial composite.
Then some fun with Pixel bender Droste, Leaf texture BG w/pinlight blend and mask. Create 3D sphere and rotate, and added star BG layer. BTW, it worked better to make the star layer after reducing to 800X800 pixels.
LR adjustments and shading.

Steve, the OP has some neat things to look at - I like the giant shrimp at the bottom and the dreamcatcher on the left and both of the backgrounds. The 2nd pane has a very tribal look to it and it looks great against the white bg. Both are great:S3:
