Combo flips, polar coordinates, twirls etc

This is a combination of 3 different images. The green center is one, the red ring around it is another and the rest of the image is the third. I was going crazy with rotating, flipping, twirling, polar coordinating etc with this one so I can't say exactly how it was made. :S3:

I've been playing around with ways to come up with kaleidoscope type edits without starting with a 4 way flip. The 2 in the center were created this way and the cool thing is that it works great with virtually any square image. When I get some time, I'll write down the basic steps and post them with another edit.

Wow, that would make a great piece of decorative glass in the middle of a front door. Beautifully done.

I've been working on a tutorial but then got sidetracked when I decided to try some other variations. All are producing very cool results. It seems that I can't find an image that this doesn't work well on. :bg3:

That looks awesome. I agree with Richard that it looks like ornamental glass. Great colors, and nice use of effects.
