Nice effect.. I might have a little more room around the mini world...TFS
Dawn, I love the gator skin look to your world. Paul makes a good suggestion. The star center came out nice. The mini-worlds are a lot of fun!!:S3:
Dawn, the star center is really cool and I like all the patterns and the darker lines - you can definitely tell there's a gator in there:S3: I agree that there could be a little more room around the edges.
Put some more room around the world - Did it the hard way by making a duplicate layer behind, scaling, then cloning to clean-up on the four sides of the globe. Is there an easier way?
Dawn, I usually just use the selection tool and then put the globe on it's own layer and then duplicate it. Then turn the eyeball off of the background layer, add canvas to the top layer then edit>fill>pick a color. then you move the middle layer on top of the filled layer. I'm usually not fond of the beams of color on the outside but some do like them and this won't help you with that. One trick is to try the pinch tool Filter>distort>pinch. Sometimes that will help.:S3:
Hi Dawn, love the repost!
Dawn,
Love the pattern... reminds me of some kind of ancient spiritual symbol. Nicely done.

yes, better with the green all the way around. looks like an old Celtic carving...interesting!
Love the pattern and texture, Dawn. It makes a very neat miniworld. :S3: I like the repost, and the BG color is perfect.
