Here is one for Dave. I never had the pleasure of knowing the man nor have him critique any of my imagery, but he must have been a special person. He seems to have a big impact on many of the folks who have been here for awhile.
This Raccoon was one of four youngsters that came by the family cottage a couple of years ago. I am guessing the mother chased them away to start their own live without her and they were hanging out together. I put the dog in the cottage and enjoyed shooting many close-ups of the very curious little fellas that were illuminated by the setting sun. The background color is from the deck on the cottage.
Andrew, the fract treatment is wonderful. I love the eyes, the background and the tree (actually I love the whole image:S3:)
