Judy,
I like the composition, pastel colors (the shades of brown and red, the green foreground and purple sky play so well together) and the look of the creative effects. Everything seems to have a place in this image, even the small stump in the lower right. Beautifully done.

Judy, Very nice image with three lovely layers of color. I might consider a small slice off the top but it is nice as presented. I think the fractalius filter softened up the tree lines beautifully.:S3:

Thanks Richard and Denise! I cropped off about an inch of sky at the top but left the top of the tree on the right as it looked like the best option to me.
I really like all of it but that front stump...there's just not enough definition in it for me to find it interesting. The tree line with the dips of white between each group is lovely!
Hi Judy, love the use of fractalius here. I am starting to enjoy using that filter more for landscapes than for wildlife. Really like the comp, agree with Julie on the stump in the foreground. Very nice filtering!
Thanks Jules and Andrew!
I removed the stump.
