Stepping Out

Hi Folks;

Photographed this House Sparrow in our garden and created abstract using MS Digital Image Suite 9, selecting Filter>Glowsing Edges>then Artistic Stroke Edges,next enhanced eye & beak in CS5.

Comments always welcome & appreciated as learning experience.

Gus, I like the glowing edge rendering. Would wish for more detail in the head, eyes, bill. Maybe you could use a layer mask to help let the head show through, although I haven't tried it for the glowing edge filter.

Gus, This is something different! I like the way your bird is stepping out! The glow adds a lot off interest. I agree w/ Keith regarding the head, bill and eye detail. Neat!!

Interesting image and application. I hate to say it but I agree with the others on the detail. I can't make out the head area at all on this ... Sorry, but :( Other than that, I like it. :cheers: Not your norm ... that's good! :w
