Gila Woodpecker- Drawing

Hi Folks;

Another colored pencil drawing of a Gila Woodpecker I captured in our garden on our Arizona Ash.

Drawing and edges were done using MS Digital Image Suite 9, an old program I used to use about 5 years ago,

Gus, I really like the sketched/painterly look to this. The background almost has a stained glass look to it and the colors are marvelous. I do wish the second trunk(?) was not there and I might want to see a bit more perch and the bird a bit more to the right. Nicely processed.

Gus, the repost looks great! I love the pose and the abstract look to the background and the blues really add to it. :)

The repost is a surefire winner, Gus! Like the rendering of the woodpecker, also the BG. It all works together, nice COMP!
