Took this the other week - cloned out a rather distracting black blob in the OOF background just above the head of the bird. Also cloned out a small bit of dark blue sea in the top left hand corner. And a bit of black stuff around the tip of the tail. This was taken at 7.59.58 am, I knew the light would be better at 8.
7d, 500mm + 1.4 ext, 1/5000 @ 5.6, ISO 400. EV 0. Tripod.

Tom, sharp and beautiful. I'd like to see a small crop from the bottom -- about a fourth of the way up the rock.
Interesting perch and nice detail!
Would like to see a bit more a head turn toward the viewer and would
trade less room at the top and bottom for more room on right and left.
Wendall and Mike captured my cropping thoughts and Mike the head turn. A very interesting looking bird.
Tom nice details on this bird and it really stands out against the BG colours. The others have already mentioned the HA and cropping options.
As suggested - better HA and Crop, same specs.
