Another ice-scape from Lake Ontario. I used a polarizer to slow things down enough to smooth out the rippled surface of the lake. This was shot towards the end of the day. So far it is my favorite ice-scape image. I tweaked the warmth a little with Viveza.

Awesome. Love the water and the ice. I think that moving the lens more to the right--for more ice--might have yielded a stronger image. Or, another frame on the right for a stitched pano might have been the winner.
Andrew, I remember this one from your blog. I really do like this a lot and it has inspired me to look for this type of image the next time I have the opportunity. Just lovely!!
Another good one Andrew. The shapes and textures create a nice almost abstact comp. I just cropped it with more ice in the frame, and I think Art is right, it does look better. Do you have any more ice in the image?

Thanks all for the kind words, much appreciated. This image has no crop applied to it. Next time I am at this location I will keep in mind the more ice and possible pano suggestions. Never thought of trying it as pan.
