I finally got a chance to finish this image that I had been working on in my head:p, Anyway I used several Nik Color Efex filters including the Midnight filter and the IR film filter. This was an in-camera blur taken in Bosque del Apache.

Beautiful work, Denise! I love all the layers and the blue color tones. The flow of the birds is awesome! :)

Denise, this is very cool. You really captured the essence of a sky full of sandhills. Are there some geese in there at the top too? The color treatment is dream-like and interesting. Is this from the second pond on the highway?

I like the blue-toned IR effect and the base image is wonderful!

Cool IR look, Denise! I like the way the amount of blur on the birds seems to increase as you go up the image.

Denise, first thing that came to my find was IR! then with a blue tone. I like your vision... the layers form a wonderful birdscape with stand alone cranes on the lower right makes the image for me. Beautifully done.

Hey D,
I love blue.....so this one has huge appeal to me! Was this saved at low quality? I ask because the lower whites seem toasted to me.......and flow wise out of place. I have been staring at the computer screen all day....so consider that......but if you can tone down the lower whites tonally (and perhaps remove the darker stip).....another winner for sure!!!

Roaman, This is a very low quality-39:(. The tiff is fine.
