A bit of a change to the look back poses I have been posting recently on ETL.
Had some fun with these little ones, despite the poor light.
I would have liked a little more dof to get the beak fully in focus, but, as I mentioned, light was not giving me any presents this Christmas time.
C&C welcome.

Ben:
I like the pose, bird, perch and background.
I do think it needs some significant curves and local brightness adjustments, as it looks quite washed out and a bit overflashed.
I took a couple quick passes at it and felt making the above changes would be worthwhile.

Thank you for the comments Randy and Dumay.
Randy, I will have a go at reworking this image. I will wait until next week when I am back on my desktop computer though. I processed this on my laptop, where it looked ok. While I do not disagree that it may be a bit off, the blue tits in the region this was taken do have a somewhat subdued colouring, especially at this time of year.

Ben:
You have to go with what looks most accurate to you. He just looked too washed out, but perhaps that is perfectly accurate.
Lets us know what you end up with.
Cheers

Randy,
Back at home on my desktop I agree with you completely. Amazing how this particular image looked very different between the two screens. Other images do not have seem to differ as much as this blue tit set.
