I worked on an owl image with tons of texture layers and I finally got it the way I wanted but the file was so large I couldn't resize it small enough to post so I decided to post a blur I took of the woods behind my house. We finally got some fall color (in December:2eyes2:). I did a levels adjustment, Topaz Simplify BuzSim and usm.

Beautiful blur. I especially like the composition, with the Birches (?) framing the smaller yellow tree. I like how the Birches lean and bend in. The small amount of blur works well, retaining some of the details to add interest. My personal preference would be to increase contrast to brighten up the image a bit; and to crop a bit from the right to remove that dark trunk that is partly in the image, and maybe crop a bit off the left to re-balance the composition. Lovely color! Great job.

Cheryl, I like the soft painterly look to this one. I agree w/ a sliver off the left. Nicely done.:)

Very nice Cheryl. I like the softness of the colors. Monet-ish.
