last week I had a chance to shoot some ducks at Humber Bay Park in Toronto along the Lake Ontario shoreline. One Bufflehead was quite brave and was coming in rather close. They usually don't. Under the bright sunny skies he was very hard to expose for without burning out the highlights or losing detail the blacks, but then he started diving close to where I was and the water was relatively calm so I tried a few shots of him under the water where he was easier to expose.
I like the blurred behaviour that is captured here. Or maybe I drank too much cough syrup this week! :)
Love the movement in the water, Andrew. You might think about copying/rotating the foot on the right and adding it over the foot on the left so they have more symmetry. Or not. I'm just a symmetry freak so don't mind me. :D

What a cool view. I really like the wavy water and the wavy duck. Great thinking to capture this!

That's a very cool image! I'd be tempted to use Pixel Bender Twirl on it for more waviness!

Neat image, Andrew. A very different view to be sure. I like the wavy blur. I would run a little NR on the water and maybe see if the bird could be sharpened just a tad.

What a fun image! Great idea that would only work with that beautiful clear water.
