Cool Coot

This is a new beginning for me because it's the first time this winter I've been to the waterway to photograph migrating water birds and therefore my first coot shots of the season.

I first used Topaz Clean, then used Fractalius plus Virtual Painter on a dupe layer (in soft light mode). I masked in the eye and beak from the original since they were obliterated and I wanted to show the detail. Framed with layer styles on a border selection.

FYI: the red in the water is a reflection from a flag at the marina!
