I was out taking pictures of swans and took this image of the sunset reflecting in the frozen water. The entire image is ice.
I tried and liked Topaz Simplify to take the hard edge off the image. Additional PP in low key light and color.............

Jay, I love the colors and textures and the abstract feel. I would tone down the bright yellow areas and might take a small bit from the bottom.

Ditto what Kerry said. I also love that sweeping curve from left to right.

I like the bright colors. It looks as if the bright part were the actual sky, not a reflection, and I like that illusion. I would like to see the lower part less muddy in tone. Well seen and captured.

Very different look here. When I read it and found out it was all ice-I had to give it a second look. I thought it was water at the top. Nicely done Jay and ditto toning down that one spot that looks a bit hot. You could use a new layer with a gradient added then just mask in only the area you want to cover. I love it it has an abstract look to it that really appeals to me.:)

This is really cool, Jay! I never would have guessed that we were looking at ice. I agree with Kerry that a small slice off the bottom would balance this out and other than that one hot spot in the lower yellow area, the colors look great as is!

Thanks folks for the feedback................
Terry, a bit off the bottom and less bright...........
Denise, frozen wave at the top, with a different frozen water texture at the bottom. I did some split lighting to exaggerate the effect.................
How's this?
