A few years ago we had a heavy frost after a rain that night and the leaves were very wintery looking. I used the original jpg as it was handy. I used Pixel Bender Kaleidoscope on the background layer, then Topaz Adjust on the leaves layer and used layer style stroke and outer glow for the frame effect.

Judy, Really nice presentation. I might add a small black border to the outside. I would evict the two white square looking pixels in the left BG. Neat!:)

Judy, I love frosted leaves - the possibilities with them are endless. Agree with Denise on the black border.

Very nice work, Judy. Frosted leaves are a goldmine for photos! Love the colors and border, and I agree with Denise's suggestion. Well done.

That's very nicely done Judy. I love the floating frame look and the cold wintry colors. This would make a nice poster or large print.

This would have been a good one for the "making something special out of ordinary" theme as well. I love the presentation with the wonderful patterns in the background layer and the composition of the main layer.

Wonderful idea and execution! Beautiful frosted leaves. Lovely soft tones. I think cropping half the width of the wonderful border would help focus my eyes on the image center, with the border as a complement. As it is, the border competes too much with the leaves in the center. I might also darken that one light leaf just a bit. I love the creativity in this image.

Hey Judy, this looks great and the frame is very well done although there's something about it that makes the center image look as if it's twisting CCW.
Other than removing those white squares, the only change I might make would be to desaturate those green leaves a bit.

Thanks everyone! I re-worked it before I read the last couple of suggestions so this will have to do for now. I removed the 2 white spots and I added the outer border.
