This image may seem familiar to some here. It is the bridge that I used in a previous theme, but I changed the season to reflect what soon will be. Though shot on our trip back home in October, before the cold winter winds normally blow through the Wisconsin countryside, I modified the image to reflect what might happen by Christmas, if history repeats itself!
Modifications in CS4 included; De-saturation in the RAW processing application, Selective Color and Levels Adjustment to define the black areas and mid-tones, Topaz Detail, Topaz Infocus, Excessive Sharpening to create the snowing effect and other normal PS image adjustments.
It’s predicted to be 27 degrees here in sunny southeast Florida tonight!!! ; ~ ( However, by next week it will be in the mid 70s again, so we will survive! ; > )
Enjoy and stay warm!

Mark, it did snow in Florida last year didn't it? Who knows, you could be right... :D Being from Indiana, I know what the chances are of snow in Wisconsin.
Nice adaptation of the image for the winter theme. It looks like you had a nice trip home and got some good images too.

Mark, This does look very much like a cold winter day! I like the frame too - stark and simple - perfect match.

Good adaptation to a winter scene. It looks especially wintery from a distance. Close up, I lose some of that cold feel. I like the frame.

Thanks all for viewing and comments. Appreciate it.
Yes, Kerry it was an awesome trip. Though Wisconsin did not pan out as the geese didn't show up in the normal numbers there were many interesting landscape images, which aren't my normal forte. But like this one they just seemed to jump in front of the lens for me! :) :o
Denise, do I read that right??? :2eyes2: You like the frame??? :D Guess there is always hope for change!
Yes, Jules and Anita, I can definate state that this represents a normal wintery day in Wisconsin with the -40 wind chill and all! Here we get +40 winter nights for up to two weeks! I'll stay in Florida for the duration!
